Each year our Board hosts multiple charitable events targeted towards supporting members of the communities we represent in the Court Room every day. Our annual Charity Golf Outing has raised tens of thousands of dollars for various local Middlesex County charities. We also host an annual Toys for Tots toy drive to give joy to children in need at the holidays.

Each year the Board awards the prestigious Breitkopf award, given to the trial lawyer that best exhibits an unwavering concern for the welfare of both the bar and of it’s members. Additionally, there are multiple networking events throughout the year, which allow adversaries to interact as friends beyond the typical adversarial nature of opposing counselors.

Both independently and in partnership with other local bar associations, the MCTLA strives to present learning opportunities to members by offering Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit eligible seminars throughout the year. Past topics have included civil arbitrator training, motions in limine, traumatic brain injuries, jury selection and cross examining medical experts.
